Looking to Brighten your school experience?
Greenville High School has many after school activities such as Book club, F.F.A, Science club, Yearbook, Art club, Journalism and more! The club we are featuring this month is Art Club. Because of Cross Country, this club will begin in early November, and will be meeting in Mrs. DellaRocco’s room.
Art Club is an opportunity for students to engage with art on a bigger level. According to Mrs. DellaRocco, “the meaning of Art club is to let people express themselves in their art, just with a few challenges!” Some of these challenges include having a consistent amount of students, losing students to sports who were leaders when the project started.
In Art club with Ms. DellaRocco, the students work on a “variety of everything,” this might include mural painting and even sculpting. One of the bigger projects that her students will be working on is completing the girl’s bathroom stalls. They started this project last year and will be finishing it this year. Mrs. DellaRocco says “she needs more people to join Art club to help with the stalls by adding new things and finishing the old ones.”
If you consider yourself an artist, or you are just looking for a way to learn more about art but don’t have time for a class, this might be the right club for you!
