In the book, I Woke Up Dead at the Mall by Judy Sheehan, a group of teens who have passed away are sent to the Mall of America where all dead teens are sent. This mall is run by someone who chooses whether or not the teens may become a mall-walker, a zombie, or an angel. They are given a time limit to get this task done and if it is not done they will become a mall-walker. The hardest part about this task was the amount of time they were given to complete it.
The main character, Sarah, was not able to complete her task in the time she was given. But another main character, Nick, helped her and went back so she could become an angel. Sarah and Nick spent so much time together that she started developing a crush on him.

The moral of this story or the message is you should live life to its fullest because at any point in time it can be taken away from you and you will have regrets.
